I greatly appreciate the attention and extra care when packaging up the items. How sad it would be to purchase an antique that has survived multiple generations, only to be destroyed by USPS! My name is Anna Taylor and I’m the face behind Duke and Duchess. I am a mom to four incredible kids ranging from ages 2-14 (2 biological, 1 adopted, 1 fostering). My husband, Johnny, is always the favorite in our home. He is incredibly gifted and I wouldn’t want to share life with anyone else!
It all began when Johnny and I bought our second home, our beloved 1920’s Dutch Colonial, whom we named, the Duchess. This home was a true labor of love as we renovated it from top to bottom, preserving its historic charm and updating it with little bits of what made it uniquely ours. Here she is in all her 1920’s glory!
We have since moved on to other homes, always renovating and leaving bits and pieces of us along the way. But the Duchess was the beginning of many dreams and a shared deep love for interior design and curated treasures that tell a story and bring so much character to a home.
Duke and Duchess is a reflection of what we have naturally grown to love through each home we have renovated and the many years spent traveling abroad. It is a constant flow of a tastefully collected mix of old and new, meant to spark an inspiration to create inviting and unique spaces within your own home.
