As the daughter of an antique dealer, I naturally fell in love at an early age with all things vintage. This early passion developed into a successful career as a Connecticut antique shop owner, interior designer, and party-event planner.
My husband Jeff (a former thoroughbred jockey) and I along with our three daughters and various pampered barnyard critters lived in several states up and down the east coast.
It was during our moving adventures as a racing family that honed my skills as an antique collector/dealer. While living in Maryland I had the privilege to work with nationally-known mentors and clients who influenced my personal style, which I would characterize as an easy transition from muck boots to party dress that can harmoniously combine a refined and rustic decor.
After settling in Saratoga Springs, NY, I had a renewed yearning for my antique-shop roots. My goal with the launch of Vintage Retold is to offer affordable vintage collections with today’s more casual and comfortable lifestyle.
 I love the idea that every treasured vintage piece begins with a story and each owner adds to the continued story to be Retold.

I purchased two items from this shop. They arrived surprisingly quickly, and it was evident that extreme care was taken to ensure they arrived safely. I greatly appreciate the attention and extra care when packaging up the items. How sad it would be to purchase an antique that has survived multiple generations, only to be destroyed by USPS!
