Late 1800s to early 1900s ceramic pitcher with roses and gold embellishments

Lovely antique ironstone pitcher with raised designs, painted roses and gold embellishments. Notice the scallops on the applied handle and gold details throughout. Marked “Ironstone China, J&G Meakin, Eastwood Works, Hanley, England.” This mark was used between 1890 and 1907. Beautiful piece for the modern farmhouse, shabby cottage, or English-inspired interior. See dimensions and condition description below.
APPROX. DIMENSIONS: 7.25″ tall x 6.5″ wide from spout to handle; base is 4.25″ x 3.5″
CONDITION: Excellent used antique condition with no damage. There’s very minor loss of gold on the handle side of the rim and minor discoloration in the same area, just below the rim. No cracks or chips. See photos.

I greatly appreciate the attention and extra care when packaging up the items. How sad it would be to purchase an antique that has survived multiple generations, only to be destroyed by USPS!
