I greatly appreciate the attention and extra care when packaging up the items. How sad it would be to purchase an antique that has survived multiple generations, only to be destroyed by USPS! Recently someone asked me what my style is. I’m not sure how to answer this simply. I like a lot of different styles, but never one by itself. I like the unexpected. There is nothing necessarily wrong with a space that is uniform-It’s just expected. Our eye can easily move while we are observing. But the unexpected gets our attention. Our eye gets caught and stops. This is why juxtaposition works.  It makes us stop and think. We no longer are just bystanders. Our minds are engaged and inspired.

Nothing creates interest, adds depth, richness and character the way a vintage item does. There seems to be a plethora of mass produced goods. What is the draw? Who wants a copy cat look? Vintage gives a raw, authentic feel that is not produced by goods from big box stores. Ditch the mundane for something more.
