Beautiful antique faux staghorn hand mirror with unusual gold embellishments. The mirror itself is thick, heavy and beveled. The case, or frame, has a texture mimicking that of a staghorn. There are gold swags and other embellishments surrounding the actual mirror and a gold band with delicate floral medallion at the top of the handle. Overall length is 10″ x 5.75″ in diameter. In very good used antique condition. The mirror has scratches and some cloudiness (see photos). The case shows wear consistent with prior use, mostly on the tip of the handle, but less than age would indicate. Great piece for the dressing table or vanity.
