Sometimes in this world it’s easy to become disillusioned and discouraged when shopping and the customer service just no longer exists. This is the exception as I have never been met with such kindness, caring and well words escape me to explain how thankful and what a blessing it was to me to have found this wonderful person and their shop. Everything is beyond what I would have expected in customer service and those of us who love to save vintage items will have met their soul person who cares so deeply about each item. I was lucky to have stumbled on this shop by complete accident but what she has done to make my daughter so very happy is something I will never forget. The world needs more people like this❤️
I ordered a vintage handmade pottery jar, and it arrived quickly, and was wrapped exceptionally well. The handwritten note was a lovely touch, and the jar is even more beautiful in person. I can't wait to style it in my kitchen, and am so happy with this purchase! I will definitely purchase from Burrow again!
My name is Anna Taylor and I’m the face behind Duke and Duchess. I am a mom to four incredible kids ranging from ages 2-14 (2 biological, 1 adopted, 1 fostering). My husband, Johnny, is always the favorite in our home. He is incredibly gifted and I wouldn’t want to share life with anyone else!
It all began when Johnny and I bought our second home, our beloved 1920’s Dutch Colonial, whom we named, the Duchess. This home was a true labor of love as we renovated it from top to bottom, preserving its historic charm and updating it with little bits of what made it uniquely ours. Here she is in all her 1920’s glory!
We have since moved on to other homes, always renovating and leaving bits and pieces of us along the way. But the Duchess was the beginning of many dreams and a shared deep love for interior design and curated treasures that tell a story and bring so much character to a home.
Duke and Duchess is a reflection of what we have naturally grown to love through each home we have renovated and the many years spent traveling abroad. It is a constant flow of a tastefully collected mix of old and new, meant to spark an inspiration to create inviting and unique spaces within your own home. We hope that you are not only inspired visually, but will also find a gem for you and yours along the way.
