Fabulous vintage heavy brass urn-shaped table lamp with OPTIONAL fabric shade–see note below. The lamp has been rewired, is in good working condition and comes with the original finial. The base is made of heavy brass; on it sits a black metal cube which supports the “urn.” Wonderful ribbed details on the bottom one-third of the body transition into a smooth surface. Urn-style “handles” flank the neck and shoulder of the lamp. A column with parchment-style covering supports the socket and harp. The finial is made of heavy brass as well. We estimate this lamp dates from the 1960s to 1980s; not marked. This lamp will feel at home in any style space, from traditional to modern. It would also look stunning with a black shade. OPTIONAL SHADE: The shade is included free of charge; however, the cost estimate for shipping it from Georgia to the west coast is an additional $50 (less for nearby areas). Otherwise, the price of the lamp alone is $159 plus $25 flat rate shipping within the contiguous United States.
MEASUREMENTS: 19″ tall to bottom of socket – base is 5.25″ square – 30″ tall to tip of finial – shade bottom diameter is 15″
CONDITION: The lamp came from an estate, is in very good preowned vintage condition, and has been rewired. The flat area that supports the socket has some dark spots, but they aren’t readily visible. There are a few minor scratches on the metal here and there consistent with age and prior use. The shade has a few very light stains inside and a couple of tiny spots on the outside. None of this detracts from appearance or function.
