Antique oval picture frame from the late 1800s to early 1900s. It features an oak-leaf-and-acorn motif, typical of the era. Colors vary from cream to a golden “antiqued” light tan. The opening is rimmed in gold. There’s a “rope” detail around the entire perimeter. Made of hardwood with a gesso skim coat, it comes with an old hanging wire and two original nails. Use for a favorite photo, piece of art or empty to showcase an art object, dried flowers or other memento. See below for dimensions and condition. CONDITION: Excellent antique condition with less wear that age would indicate; there are a few areas of missing gesso and paint as shown in the last image.
