Hi, I’m Holland, and my journey into the world of antiques began in a rather unexpected way. It all started back in 8th grade when I stumbled upon a weathered book from 1908 called “The Yukon Trail.” The book was in a rough state, with tattered pages and a spine barely hanging on. But I was absolutely thrilled to bring it to school for an assignment on that very title. Little did I know, that moment would ignite a lifelong passion for antique books that would develop into so much more.
Over the years, my fascination with antique books gradually evolved into a broader interest in collecting art, decor, and a wide array of vintage items. The concept of transforming my home into a living museum resonated deeply with me, and I fell in love with the idea.
However, my journey veered as I served in the military for eight years. During that time, I was always apprehensive about moving my cherished antique collection across the country, fearing that these fragile treasures might not survive the journey intact.
As fate would have it, my military service came to an end, and my husband and I relocated near St. Paul, Minnesota. It was here, in our new home, that I finally had the opportunity to set my passion free. Our house became a sanctuary for treasures from bygone eras, each piece adding character to our living space and sparking engaging conversations with friends and guests.
The realization hit me: I wanted to share this passion with others. And so, Heritage Finds was born. At Heritage Finds, you’ll discover a diverse selection of vintage and antique items, reflecting my personal love for mixing and matching various design styles. We take pride in sourcing our pieces locally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as exploring other states to uncover unique finds.
