Vintage pair of heavy brass candleholders (or lamp bodies) with octagonal base. The “double sockets” can accommodate candles in a variety of sizes. The sockets are open all the way through to the base; therefore, the candleholders could easily be converted into lamps–great size for the bedside table, a desk, kitchen, or shelf styling. These came from an estate and are about 40 years ld. See below for dimensions and condition.

APPROX. DIMENSIONS: 7.25″ tall x 5.5″ wide at the base; inner socket measures 7/8″ in diameter (inside) and should accommodate a standard taper; outer socket measures 1 5/8″ in diameter (inside). Each weighs just under 2 lbs.
CONDITION: Excellent preowned vintage condition. Both have a ring of wax residue between the two sockets; minor wear, such as scuffs, scratches and tarnish consistent with age–nothing that detracts from appearance or function.
