Antique stereoscope viewer labeled “Sun Sculpture, U&U, Trade Mark” and ” Manf’d by Underwood & Underwood, NY, Patented U.S.A June 11, 1901.” The stereoscope is made of aluminum and wood. It has a folding handle with a patent date of 1881. The viewer is missing the crosspiece that would hold the stereo cards. As is, it makes a great addition to shelf or coffee table styling. It measures about 13″ long x 5″ wide and is in good antique condition with age-appropriate wear.
