TEZORI

March 1, 2024

Introducing this beautiful brand and couple to you here at Vintage Keepers! Tezori is a husband and wife creative duo in New Jersey sourcing vintage, creating Youtube videos, and making their home and others more beautiful with their creative eye of sourcing vintage. As we started working towards our goals here on Vintage Keepers for 2024, I knew I wanted to partner with brands and people that I look up to so much. Tezori instantly came in mind as a couple I know that is making a difference in the design world. I asked them if they would be interested in doing a pop up collection with us this spring, and we were incredibly grateful when they said, yes! I know they are juggling a lot with what they do on their page, so I am excited to give them this opportunity for this feature and for us to have the opportunity to host their beautiful finds here.

Today I want to introduce you to Andrew and Brigitte Beach this incredible duo. Learn a little about who they are and their products. Also, get a sneak peek of what’s to come in their pop up with us starting on March 8th! These items won’t last long and will only be here for a short time…so be sure to snag them while you can.

Tell us a little bit about Tezori and how you got started?

When Andrew & I first got married, we were on a tight budget. Because of this, we had to furnish our home in unconventional ways i.e. flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores, etc. We fell in LOVE with the hunt and didn’t want to stop, so now we source vintage & antique pieces for others! A little back story: My background is in musical theatre and Andrew’s background is in finance. During COVID, I was feeling stuck creatively since theatres were shut down. At the same time, Andrew had the entrepreneurial fire burning inside him but hadn’t thought of the right business idea yet. One night I prayed to God & said “Lord, if you want me to keep teaching (as I was at the time) and being a good wife to Andrew, I will be happy and do that. But if you have something else for me, a way to bring in income, a creative outlet of some kind – please show me. The next day, Tezori was born and we haven’t looked back since! The Lord gave Andrew & I our hearts’ desires in Tezori & we are so so so grateful to Him. For the longer version of this story, head to our YouTube channel ðŸ˜‰

When we first started Tezori, we knew it would become more than a vintage shop (which is how it began). Over the past 2.5 years it has evolved into a home & lifestyle brand where we inspire & teach others to create a home they LOVE within their means. We know the struggles that come with creating a home on a budget first hand, and we are passionate about helping others in this area! We do this through our YouTube channel where we share antiquing tips, DIY home projects, and home tours of everyday people with extraordinary homes. We’re also so excited to introduce our Tezori Home membership which is coming very soon (waitlist for this is now open at tezorihome.com). In this membership, we will help others refine their eye for design, foster connections with like minded interior design lovers, and give access to exclusive content including live calls and masterclasses with industry professionals.

I am the eyes behind our brand while Andrew handles the business side of things. I source pieces for our shop, create content for our instagram, and Andrew is the one who builds & maintains our website/membership as well as shoots our youtube videos and handles all the fun financial things. We tag team on the editing and we LOVE working together. It is so fun to dream together as husband & wife and to share a passion for building our brand & business together that we really believe in. We are both big dreamers and are so excited to see where God takes Tezori. Our desire is to build Tezori up in a way that would sustain a family one day. We want to homeschool our children and hope that this business gives us the opportunity to do so.

What is the best advice you would give someone who is just starting out decorating with vintage.

My best advice for anyone starting to decorate their home with vintage pieces is to be patient & only bring pieces into your home that you LOVE. Story Time: We didn’t have counter stools for the first 4 months living in our apartment because I hadn’t found ones I loved in my budget yet. I was getting tired of not having anywhere to sit for a meal after a while, but I held out. I found some counter stools on Rejuvenation’s website that I was using as inspiration for what I wanted. The day after seeing these stools, I went to an estate sale down the road. There they were in person right in front of me in our price range! These stools aren’t vintage, but the sentiment still holds true. Be patient, and don’t bring anything into your home that you don’t love. It is better to live with less of things you love than to have a home full of things that just “work”. Living with that empty space often sparks the best ideas, and it also makes you appreciate it so much more when you find the perfect piece for that spot!

What is the best advice you can give someone just starting to sell vintage.

Stay true to your style! Don’t buy pieces for your shop because “so and so” would buy it. Source pieces for your shop that YOU love. When you stay true to your style and what you love, your people will find you.

What can we expect in the Spring collaborative drop? Is there a favorite piece?

You can expect lots of silver, blue and white, and of course candlelight! The pieces in this drop are classic & romantic. I have to say, the blue and white wall pockets coming to this drop have stolen my heart! Tears may be shed when they sell.

Sneak peek at this stunning collection you’re not going to want to miss!

If you could title this collection what would it be?

Romance in Spring.

Our style is very much inspired by our Mediterranean roots. I am Maltese and Andrew is Sicilian – the pieces in our home & our shop definitely reflect this! My summers spent at my Nanna’s home in Malta have made a lasting mark on my persona & eye for design. My home and style are definitely a reflection of my childhood spent there. All of my best memories were made in Malta, so it makes sense that I gravitate toward pieces that take me back to those beautiful moments! Andrew & I believe that your home should be filled with inspiration and nostalgia. It is so important to surround yourself with pieces that take you back to your “happy place.” Each item we carefully choose for both our home and our shop is more than just decor – it’s a narrative waiting to be shared. Let the pieces you choose for your home begin telling your unique story!
