Vintage Small Lacquered Folding Table with Floral Motif

Small vintage folding table for small spaces or as an occasional table next to a favorite chair to hold a book and cup of coffee.  The table folds down to a compact size that can be tucked away inside a closet, behind a door, or between a larger piece of furniture and a wall.  It’s made of wood and painted black with a lacquer finish.  The table top has a light gesso skim coat underneath the paint; it was then hand painted with a floral motif in reds, golds, greens and cream, highlighted with a gold scalloped border and other gold accents.  The table is lightweight and should not be overloaded with heavy items.  In the open position, the top is about the height of a standard straight chair–dimensions and condition description below.  It has a very cottagey vibe and because of the size and folding feature it’s very versatile.  Lovely in an eclectic environment or one with a nod to a European aesthetic.

CONDITION: Very good used vintage condition.  There are scuffs, scratches and some nicks here and there, all consistent with age and prior use–nothing that detracts from appearance or function.  See photos.
