Vintage Florentine wastebasket with carved designs, scalloped designs along top and bottom edges, and a wonderful pink and gold color palette with red accents. The wastebasket is made of wood, treated with a skim coat of gesso, then painted and gilded. The finish has worn along the edges over time creating a perfectly imperfect vintage look. The wastebasket measures 10″ tall x 9.25″ wide (side to side) and 7.75″ deep (front to back). The walls taper down, thus the bottom dimensions are smaller than those of the top rim: 7″ x 5 7/8″. Shows wear consistent with age and prior use. See photos and ask any questions before purchasing, as there are no returns.
