Collection of four tiny brass animals (frog, penguin, quail and owl) on an oval footed tray. The animals range in size from 2.25″ tall (penguin) to 1″ tall (quail and frog). Each animal is solid and weighted (together they weigh close to 1 lb.), all with original patina and in excellent preowned vintage condition. The quail has a “Made in Taiwan” sticker. The oval tray has a rope-type rim with a recessed area where the animals sit and four paw feet. It also has its original patina and hasn’t been polished, showing color variations and small stains. The finish can likely be evened out to a high shine if so desired, and then allowed to reacquire patina over time. It measures 7 1/8″ x 5.75″ x 1″ tall. Great shelf- or coffee-table-styling piece.
