This is a lovely terrein from La Bouguignonne, the famous French ceramics manufacturer, later known as Emile Henry. This terrein is finished in a beautifully glazed caramel and cream coloration. A rustic and traditional dish that can go from stove to the table, it is a highly usable piece of kitchenware which would also make a fine display piece in a French, European, or Rustic kitchen.

As can be seen from the photos, it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is always a hole on the top of the cover to let the steam escape during cooking. Stamped on the underside with the makers stamp and identifying numeral.
