At the turn of the 18th century, Spode introduced  bone China and in 1805, Josiah Spode II and William Copeland entered into a partnership for the Spode operations in London.   By the early 1830’s, Copeland fully acquired the Spode operations in London and took over the Stoke plant operations until his death in 1868.  The business was passed along to his heirs and modernized to include electric power in 1923.

All the items I sell are vintage & antiques, they are often used and well loved.  Therefore, please expect to see some wear.  I describe and fully disclose the condition of each item and you’re welcome to ask for more pictures and details if you have concerns.  I do not sell broken items, although occasionally I sell things that have minor flaws such as small chips, but again that will be disclosed in the description.
I use clean recycled materials to ship as often as I can.  I tend to over pack to ensure items don’t get damaged.
Shipping in the US only

Flat rate ($15-40)shipping via USPS for most smaller items.  If multiple items are purchased, cost of shipping will be adjusted accordingly.  I will do my best to package multiple items in the same box, shipping will need to be adjusted for this as well.  I am located in NJ and it will certainly cost more to ship to the west coast, please contact me and I will give you an accurate price to ship.  I do my best to package and ship at the most cost effective safe way for my customers.

If for some reason your items arrives damaged, please notify me immediately.  Do not discard the box or packing materials.  I take pictures before it leaves me and it should arrive in the same condition.
