Offered for your consideration: A large 19th-century Antique Copper Hearth Cauldron/Pot. This beautiful heavy (6lbs) copper round bottom pot has a handforged rustic iron swing handle, tapered sides, and a rimmed top. The Iron Handle was used to hang over the hearth fire, where it would be used every day for cooking soups, stews, etc.

The iron handle stands 10″ from the rim to the top of the handle
Condition – Beautiful time-worn patina with no holes or cracks in this heavy copper pot. There is typical wear for the age of this piece, especially around the rim. The original hand hammering reflects that.
Use as a centerpiece filled with flowers or as a simply beautiful stand-alone decor piece
