This is for a very large Whites Utica, salt glazed, antique stein. It was made in New York, USA between the years 1890 to 1907. I am not sure how many of these were made, but it may be a very low number due to research I have done. I was only able to find two others online. One was numbered 8 and one was numbered 6. Mine is numbered 7 on the bottom. It is cobalt blue and gray and is heavily embossed with a robed cavelier greeting a tavern maiden. It is 1 ft tall and about 5 inches across at it’s widest point. It really makes a beautiful vase and is a conversational piece!

I do believe it once had a top, which is missing. You can see the hole in the top of the handle where the top once was. It is in amazing condition for it’s age. No chips or cracks.
