A pair of double-arm, tole wall sconces with a leaf and rose design. Roses are painted a pink color with light pink tipped petals. The leaves have a yellow undercoat and a forest green over coat. The body of the sconces is a cream colored. Paint is intact. These would be so fun in a garden room, breakfast room, child’s bedroom, or enclosed porch.
The sconces need a good cleaning and I would replace the candle covers as these have yellowed and are worn. These are readily available online and not very expensive. The original rivets that held some of the roses in place have failed over the years and they have been fixed by using a small nut to hold them to the stem. Although this works, a couple are a little loose feeling. It should not make a difference when this is installed, but did want to mention it. The wall lamps have older wiring. It is always advised to have a licensed electrician inspect and install vintage lighting. Each sconce measures approximately 11 inches tall and 11 inches wide. They will stand out from the wall approximately 7 inches when installed.
