Vintage solid brass double inkwell with theatre masks and ornate embossed details. The two square ink pots with fluted sides are attached to their respective bases and feature hinged lids. They sit on a raised platform surrounded by sloping panels with ornate foliate designs and the aforementioned comedy and tragedy masks, two in front, two in back and one on each side. Four feet elevate the piece slightly off the tabletop. Fantastic patina. Overall measurements are 8.5″ side to side x 6″ front to back x about 3.75″ to the tip of the finials; weight is 2 lbs. 8 oz. Very substantial piece. Great for styling the home office desk or shelf. Pen not included.
