Vintage silver plated melon-style teapot marked “Wm A Rogers Canada EPBM” [electroplated Britannia Metal], in as-found tarnished condition. We usually leave silver unpolished, as some buyers prefer the patina; this should polish out to a high shine if that finish is preferred. The handle and lid finial may be Bakelite; test was inconclusive. The lid is hinged and there’s a built-in strainer inside the spout. The teapot holds approx. 4 cups and measures approx. 11″ from spout to handle x about 5.5″ tall to the tip of the finial on the lid. Very good vintage to antique condition. There’s a small dent along one of the “ribs” but it isn’t very noticeable–see second image.
