Vintage bamboo-look accordion peg rack with creamy white distressed finish, perfect for the European cottage or farmhouse. The horizontal-mount rack has seven horizontal pegs and three vertical pegs. There are two front-mounting holes at the top. As pictured, it measures 26.5″ wide x 15.5″ tall. It can be expanded further if so desired. Overall measurements folded are 18″ long x 5-5/8″ wide; projection from mounting surface is 4.5″ at the top row and 3.5″ at the other two rows. The distressed finish shows scuffs on a few of the pegs where the paint is missing; I believe this rack started out with a natural finish and has been painted. It can be distressed further, stripped to its natural color, or spray painted in the color of your choice–or left as is. There is surface rust on the metal pieces in back. The smaller vertical pegs on the top row are not original. Note that once installed the vertical pegs will need to be straightened. This is a heavy, sturdy rack; however, please use care when straightening the pegs. A stamp on the back appears to read “Made in Bulgaria.” Great addition to the mudroom, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, or entryway. These racks are timeless and appropriate for a multitude of uses and will complement a variety of decor styles.
