Large Antique Folk Art Primitive Picture Frame with Lithograph

This fantastic example of tramp art was purchased from the estate of a New York City antique dealer.  It’s a great example of primitive folk art created at the turn of the century with simple materials.  The overall condition is very good except for the loss of a wood piece from the center of the bottom left flower. The glass itself appears to be the original with bubbles throughout.  It holds a lithograph entitled “Doctor Fred is called to attend Mary’s Doll”, an original hand-colored lithograph. Please note there are damp marks on the bottom of the lithograph itself.  The title at the bottom reads “Doctor Fred is called to attend Mary’s Doll” and to the right ‘copyright 1889, McLoughlin Brothers,  New York’.
