I think that this was Hotel China or Restaurant Crockery made in England and imported by Higgins + Seiter in New York. Whatever the Provenance, it’s a charming old piece to fill with shells or sea glass.
Would be fab on a bar cart holding limes. Or in a guest bath filled with small soaps.
Size: 8-3/4 inches diameter X 5 inches high. Bowl is 2 inches deep. Base is 3-1/4 inches high X 4-1/4 inches wide.
In perfect condition with no cracks, chips or crazing.
