This is one of the most enchanting and charming oil paintings I have come across. The colours, muted, yet hopeful. Present, yet subtle. This painting is about a promise. A promise of new hope, new beginnings and new blessings. A promise of better days to come.
The brushstrokes do not fully reach the edges of this painting at three of the edges as seen in the pictures. So you can see small parts of the board it was painted on underneath.
Signed by “Marie McFarlane” but not dated. The frame has some wear and discolouration commensurate with its age. Please check the detailed pictures.

Lovely Landscapes
