Collector plates illustrated by Danish artist, Bjørn Wiinblad. The plates were made for Rosenthal of Germany and are part of a set of 12 illustrating “The Magic Horse” – a fairy tale from 1001 Nights. This is plate I, II, and III from the series.
In the series, Bjørn Wiinblad illustrates the adventurous travels of the Prince of Persia from the tales of the Arabian Nights.
The design is done in Wiinblad’s whimsical folk art style and they are beautifully colored and set on a cobalt blue background, richly detailed with gold. Each plate has a hanger on the back and a German description. Good vintage condition. Each measures approximately 6.5 inches in diameter. I am only set up to ship within the contiguous U.S. states.

Items sold at 1006 Osage are vintage and generally have been loved before, meaning that they may have some imperfections. Otherwise, I use calculated shipping which is automatically set for USPS Priority. This service will include tracking and insurance. For heavy, larger items, it may be less expensive to ship FedEx or UPS. I am happy to check alternate carrier rates for you if you contact me before buying. I am only set up to ship within the contiguous U.S. states.
