Antique moody fruit still life pastel painting featuring a melon slice, grapes and plums, likely dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Exquisite treatment of light and shadow. Framed under glass in original hardwood frame. Not signed. Overall dimensions are 27.25″ x 15.25″. Please note that the pastel medium was never sealed with fixative. Excellent preowned antique condition with very minor wear on the frame; new dust cover. Ready to hang.
