This antique English sauce boat in the “Iris” pattern by Arthur J. Wilkinson (Royal Staffordshire Pottery, Burslem, England) is Art Nouveau perfection. Stylized iris flowers in cobalt blue with gold accents in that fluid style of the period enhance the curvy shape. Fully marked on the bottom with the company’s 1907 mark. It measures 8.5″ long x 4.25″ tall at the handle. Excellent used antique condition; no chips or cracks; some discoloration inside, but nothing that detracts.
