This old violin, ca. 1920s, lost most of its parts over the decades. I’ve embellished it for the holidays with plaid ribbon, a heavy brass horn salvaged from a broken wall sconce, and a floral pick–and it’s looking very festive. The embellishments are simply slipped over the neck and can be swapped out seasonally. The violin was marketed by the First National Institute of Allied Arts (FNIAA), a company founded South Bend, Indiana, which sold mass-produced student violins, primarily made in Germany between 1920 and 1940. Overall measurements are 23.5″ x 10″. Very good used antique condition for decor purposes.
