Glazed terracotta bust of lady, signed by artist. Possibly from 1972, but it is hard to make out the date. Sculptures made with terracotta were popular during the 18th and 19th c. in France, as well as the 15th c in Italy, and are now harder to find, making this a unique piece! It is very heavy, weighing just over 8 lbs. It measures 9″ tall and 6.5″ across face.

Has some chips in the glaze, some deeper then others, exposing the raw terracotta underneath.
