Vintage trumeau-style gilded mirror in wooden frame with composite embellishments; not marked. It features an antiqued print of Venice’s Grand Canal with Santa Maria della Salute in the distance. Overall measurements are 31.5″ x 7.75″; the mirror measures 19-5/8″ x 5-5/8″ and it’s .25″ thick–very heavy; the print measures 7.5″ x 5-5/8″. The print and dust cover are replacements. There’s a hanging wire in the back. It’s hard to precisely date this piece; the unusual thickness of the mirror seems to point to an older piece; however, the resin appliques seem to indicate perhaps a mid-20th century date. Very good preowned vintage condition with a few vertical dark lines on the mirror, nicks on the upper left and lower right corners of the frame, and nick on the upper right corner of the mirror.
