Fantastic tin candleholders with ornate repoussé designs for eclectic interiors. The wide base supports a straight column which, in turn, supports the drip pan and socket. Every single section is heavily decorated with with geometric and abstract designs. The bottoms are covered in green felt. The candleholders aren’t marked, but the style could easily point to Mexico, the Middle East, North Africa, or Spain as the place of origin. They measure 9.75″ tall x 5.25″ in diameter at the base. The sockets are 1 3/8″ in diameter at the rim and taper down towards the bottom; they are 7/8″ deep. The size is larger than that of a standard taper, so candle adhesive may be required to stabilize the candles. The candleholders are in excellent preowned vintage condition, with lovely patina acquired over time; very minor wax residue inside the sockets.
