Vintage life-size white dove figurine by the Rosemeade Pottery Co. (history below). Beautifully hand painted and detailed. Originally, it would have had a foil sticker with the company’s name and logo. It measures approx. 11″ long x 8.5″ tall x 4.5″ at its widest. Excellent preowned vintage condition with no damage. Lovely shelf-styling piece or addition to a collection of bird figurines.

HISTORY (from online sources): Rosemeade Pottery was a company founded in Wahpeton, North Dakota, as the Wahpeton Pottery Company in 1940 by Laura Taylor and Robert J. Hughes. It was renamed Rosemeade Potteries in 1953 and is best known for its realistic figurines of animals, birds, and fish, which are now popular collectibles. The company operated until 1961, with its distinctive lustrous glazes and detailed, hand-painted designs setting its pieces apart.

I greatly appreciate the attention and extra care when packaging up the items. How sad it would be to purchase an antique that has survived multiple generations, only to be destroyed by USPS!
