Small oblong bowl with ruffled edges and gold embellishments inside and out.

Lovely footed porcelain candy dish with handles featuring hand painted gold roses inside and out. The bowl is marked with two blue crossed arrows, which we believe is the back stamp for the Kalk Porcelain Factory in Eisenberg, Turingia, [East] Germany, first used in 1904, along with the number 8094. Asymmetrical shape with ruffled edges and impressed scrolls. This piece was an estate find and kept in a china cabinet by its previous owner, which explains its excellent condition. It shows little to no use and exudes old world elegance. It makes a unique addition to a collection of traditional porcelain. Display it on a coffee table or use it as a jewelry dish on the dressing table. The last image shows additional coordinating pieces from the same estate which we have available: https://www.vintage-keepers.com/shops/alegriacollection See dimensions and condition description below:
