Vintage American Era Violin and Bow for Restoration or Wall or Music Room Decor – Incomplete

Vintage violin and bow with “American Era” label.  There is virtually no information available about this company, but the two references we found indicate the violin dates from before the 1930s.  We believe the violin is a 1/10 size, the body (excluding the neck and scroll) measuring 14.25″.  It’s structurally sound, but most of the varnish is gone and there are parts missing: strings, bridge, fine tuners and tailpiece, and chin rest.  The bow was broken at one point and poorly repaired.  It appears to be complete, except for the bow hair.  The violin measures 23.25″ overall, from scroll to end button.  See photos and feel free to ask any questions as all sales are final.  Use as music room or wall decor, or take on the task of restoring it–there are plenty of how-to videos online.
