This is a vintage 48 star American flag. The 48-star flag was made and used between 1912 and 1959. I suspect by the staining and light tears that can be noted throughout that this flag is on the older side’s. Fabric itself is also lightweight, the stars are printed rather than sewn on, however, the stripes are sewn on rather than printed. This leave a questionable timeframe for when the flag was made. Flag is in a beautiful aged condition and hard to come by.
