Vintage 1992 gold bow gesso bookends by Silvestri Corporation, Chicago, crafted in Korea. I love the lowlights that enhance the aged look and the “floppiness” of the bows. The bottom braces are metal. They measure about 6″ tall x 6″ across x 5″ deep. Each weighs 1 lb. 8 oz. Both have a small repair on the back side, which isn’t visible from the front or side and doesn’t detract, and there may be a nick or two on the finish (see photos). The metal has some scuffs. Otherwise, in very good used vintage condition.
