This porcelain Lampe Berger (scent diffuser, air purifier–history below) was made in France by Artoria Limoges for Lampe Berger, now known as Maison Berger Paris. Although not necessarily rare, this design is one of the more sought-after ones produced by Berger. The creamy white bulbous-shape bottle is embellished on one side with a gold-framed bisque cherub cameo. The bottle is complete with burner with wick, stopper and diffuser cap. The diffuser cap is made from a heavy gold-color metal; although this piece has been used, the burner and wick are intact. The bottle is empty; the burner retains traces of the previously used scent. Berger oil can be purchased online and an instruction video on how to operate the lamp is available on the Maison Berger Paris website. Overall height is about 6.5″. Excellent preowned condition with no damage.
