I don’t know too much about these two little prints which look like they may have been book illustrations. Each features a black and white illustration and a gold illuminated letter. One is a couple dancing with the letter N in the upper corner and the other is a conductor and the letter O. There is a little symbol on both in the lower right-hand corner. I did not have any luck researching this. They both came mounted to mat board and have a greige-colored decorative square mat over them. One of the little prints has the name of the publishing house: Bestetti & Tumminelli, Editori – Milano. An Italian Wikipedia article states that the publishing house was founded in 1906, started publishing in 1909 with headquarters in Milan. In 1924, they moved to Rome and in 1926 merged with another company and changed their name. Based on this information, my best guess is that the publication these were taken from was probably published c. 1910 – 1924. They are in nice condition and the mat is a great neutral. These are just waiting for a pretty frame and I think they will look beautiful displayed on an easel or as part of a gallery wall. Each matted print measures about 7.5 inches wide and about 7.75 inches tall.

If free shipping is not indicated, your shipping price will be calculated by delivery zip code and added at check-out. I will generally use USPS Priority for calculated shipping, also with insurance and tracking. For heavy, larger items it may be less expensive to ship FedEx or UPS. I am happy to check alternate carrier rates for you if you contact me before buying.
