For your consideration is a charming set of 4 (four) 1960’s garden herb plates. These creamy white plates feature a variety of herbs in wooden planters and have a thin band of brown painted around the edge. At just over 8″ round, these would look wonderful as accent plates for a spring table, displayed in a hutch, hung on a wall or as a thoughtful gift for a gardener.
The herbs featured: Chives, Mustard, Basil & Borage.
There is no maker’s mark on the back. My research on these plates revealed they were made by both Nelson Lebo & Homer Laughlin in the 1950’s & 1960’s.

Condition:Â
Good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. I see little to no signs of utensil marks on the decorated surface. There is some wear / paint loss to the brown trim around the edges. One plate has a tiny surface level fleck chip or glaze pop on the back that is not a big deal but wanted to mention. A wonderful old set. Please see all photos and zoom in for details!
