Beautiful framed still life of citrus fruit and a blue vase against a dark background. The colors really pop. I just love the orange and blue! The painting, which I believe is an oil, has a thin linen style mat showing some age and a large gold-painted wooden frame. The painting has a little paint loss, but overall nice vintage condition. Likewise the frame shows some wear, primarily on the edges. Close-ups provided in gallery. The painting has a sticker on the back stating it was from an art gallery in CT. Research on the gallery shows it was open from 1964 – 2016, and although I did find some paintings sold in the gallery dated earlier than the gallery’s inception, I believe this particular painting was probably from the mid-ish 20th century. It appears to be signed in the upper right quadrant, but I cannot make out the artist signature. The painting is a great size, measuring 12.75 x 15 inches framed. Make it part of a gallery wall, or a perfect kitchen shelf piece. Shipping is included with this listing, but only within the contiguous US
