Ceiling mount vintage light fixture with large painted glass shade perfect for an old house renovation.
The ceiling canopy is painted metal and impressed with a flower and leaf pattern.
The shade is really beautiful with a unique shape, larger size, and nice proportions. A delicate swag featuring a blue flower vine (looks to be hand-painted) embellishes the shade. This will make a beautiful statement in a hallway or foyer if your ceilings are tall enough. Elegant and charming.

It appears to have been spray-painted silver at some point. It isn’t shiny and it has some green color on it (please see close-up photos in gallery). The underside is a brassy color, but it is lightweight and I don’t believe it is brass, but instead some other pressed metal.
The ceiling canopy measures approximately 7.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches tall.
The glass shade measures about 9.25 inches tall and about 8 inches wide (near the top).
The fitter is about 4 inches in diameter. Good vintage condition, with a very small chip on the outside rim of the fitter (fairly typical for an old shade).
It is recommended that old lighting be examined by a licensed electrician. This has an old socket with a short wire, so will more than likely need to be rewired.
