Lovely details on this brass candle snuffer with scissor-like handles and a pointed tip for trimming the candle wick. The trimmed section would fall into the dustpan to be extinguished and discarded. This would also catch any dripping hot wax. Lovely on a coffee table or where ever you have your favorite candle! Notice how the holder makes a heart shape when closed. Have not been able to trace the exact model as to a time period, however fashioned after the Victorian era.
