These vintage 1950’s bowls feature a central motif of lily-of-the-valley, a swirl pattern, scalloped edge and a dark green border. Perfect for a May Day or French “Fete du Muguet” celebration where it is customary to give bouquets of lily-of-the-valley as a gesture of friendship, appreciation, or luck to family & friends! This pattern is beautiful and symbolic! Would be lovely for a dinner in the garden.

Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. One bowl has crazing in the glaze. One of the bowls shows wear / cutlery marks to the floral motif (photographed). Please see all photos and zoom in for details!
