Lovely pitcher with ornate incised designs marked “Verus Porcelain”

Lovely antique porcelain pitcher with ornate incised designs, gold trim on the handle and rim, and applied floral designs repeated inside the spout. This pitcher was made by the Oliver China Company of Sebring, Ohio, between 1899 and 1908 (see history below). It has a decidedly Victorian shape and is marked “Verus Porcelain,” a backstamp used between 1899 and 1908. Originally, it may have been part of a washbasin set. See dimensions and condition description below. Â
APPROX. DIMENSIONS:Â Â 8.5″ at highest point x 8″ wide spout to handle
CONDITION: Excellent used antique condition, considering that it’s more than 100 years old. There’s a small chip inside the lip (see photos) and allover crazing, neither of which detracts from use or appearance.
HISTORY (from online sources): The Oliver China Company was founded by Oliver Sebring in 1898 as the first pottery in Sebring, Ohio. The company made semi-porcelain earthenwares. It was sold in 1911 and renamed The E. H. Sebring China Company; it made fine porcelain and toilet seats.
