This is a fantastic piece of transferware was originally used for soup but they are also great for vegetables, tabletop Christmas trees, and bulb forcing in the spring. This piece is from the famous French house Digoin. It sits on a pedestal base and has scrolling acanthus leaf handles on each side and it is stamped on the underside. This piece is in very good antique condition free from cracks or chips. This piece makes the perfect living table decor with an orchid plant or used for fresh fruit on a counter.
