A 20th-century French school oil on paper, skillfully executed watercolor on paper and signed by Laurent Sabon (1852-1936) in the lower right corner. The color scheme achieves an ideal harmony, blending warmth and coolness, illuminated by meticulously tuned lighting reminiscent of a serene summer afternoon in the countryside. The frame is an antique itself in a beautiful textured gold gilt finish. Please make note there is a crack present in the upper left hand corner as to be expected from age but does not deter from the overall look.
