Stunning pair of square shaped tab handled antique plates. Manufactured by Powell & Bishop of England, these ironstone dishes were produced between 1867-1878. Adorned with a motif of gold and purple pansies, these delicate floral plates are trimmed with gold accent paint and ornately curved tab handles for serving. There are pops of sage green and some gray shadowing as well in the floral pattern. This unique pair are lightly tea stained and have crazing in the glaze which adds to their vintage charm and appeal!

Vintage. Good condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is light staining and crazing in the glaze. One of the plates is slightly unlevel at the base and does not sit completely flat. Not a big deal but wanted to mention! There is fading and wear to the gold painted edge. Beautifully aged antique plates! Please see all photos and zoom in for details!
