For your consideration is a simply stunning 19th century stoneware pitcher or large creamer with the most amazing patina. This piece was manufactured by J & E Mayer between 1880-1900 (Joseph & Ernest). The pottery was located in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. This footed pitcher has a lovely floral decoration on both sides with differing flowers. There is some gold luster banding around the top and on the handle. The all over tea staining is what I consider “aged to perfection”! Add to your ironstone collection with this beautiful old piece that can either be displayed or used to hold a small bouquet of fresh or dried flowers. It could also hold some small kitchen utensils!

Condition:
Antique. There are no chips or cracks. There is some light wear to the gold painted trim. All over crazing and tea staining. Please see all photos and zoom in for details!
